Funeral Music

Funeral Music

Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.
– Plato

If you are viewing this page due to a bereavement, then I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time. My goal with this page is to make selecting funeral music as easy as possible, in an effort to alleviate some of the stress you may be feeling.

For a number of years, I have been offering my services as a funeral singer in Limerick and the surrounding areas. During this time I have been honoured to provide music for funerals and memorial services, performing a variety of heart-felt songs, hymns and instrumentals, accompanied by either harp or piano, as per your preference. I have also had the privilege of offering solo Irish harp music for funerals in the past, as an alternative option.

I do what I can to offer support for music planning during this time, whether that includes suggesting some beautiful hymns for you, or accommodating any requests you may have. With notice, I can arrange to download and play a recording of any song through my sound system, should there be a particular version of a song that is significant to you or your loved ones.

On this page, you will find sample recordings, testimonials, and outlined at the end of this webpage is a selection of suggested hymns, secular songs, and instrumentals, to help you to choose appropriate music. This is based on music and hymns for the Irish Catholic funeral mass (though I am available for any other type of funeral or memorial, please enquire below).

Bookings & Enquiries

If you would like to book me to sing or play at a funeral in or near Limerick, contact me for a same-day reply, or else you can ask your funeral director to contact me directly on your behalf. I regularly work with established local funeral directors such as Griffin’s Funerals, Joseph Cross & Sons, and others.

Testimonials

"On behalf of myself and my family I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for singing at my uncle’s funeral and doing such a great job at such short notice and also helping us with everything we asked for. I cannot credit you enough for how amazing you sang that morning, from start to the end, especially with the songs we chose, they can be tough ones, particularly Time To Say Goodbye. That was amazing and sang so effortlessly. ’Wow’ is all I can say. I still have people coming up to me asking me about you and remarking how great you were. You made myself and my family’s job a lot easier and we will be recommending highly. Thank you and I hope we get to meet you again on a happier occasion."
