About Claire Heffernan – Wedding Singer & Harpist in Limerick

I completed two Masters degrees in music—one in Performance and one in Arts Management—both graduating with First Class Honours, once finishing first in my class. Soon after, I became one of Ireland’s most sought-after wedding soloists and was proud to be recognized as ‘Ireland’s Best Wedding Musician’ for three consecutive years. I’ve had the privilege of entertaining thousands of visitors to Ireland each year with my harp and voice at the world-famous Bunratty and Knappogue Castle banquets and along the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way. My musical journey has taken me to Germany, Amsterdam, Vienna, Estonia, and Lisbon, as well as to RTÉ Lyric FM, RTÉ’s Today Show, and even for National Geographic. I also enjoy performing in musicals, and in 2024, I had the absolute joy of playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast (a dream come true for a big Disney fan!)

Across 2021-2023 I shifted my focus to recording and releasing my original music. My self-produced debut single, ‘Snow Moon’ reached No. 1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. My follow-up single, ‘Gemini,’ another iTunes No.1, was premiered by Hot Press, who called it “another stunning offering” and praised my “true flair for song-creation.” Alongside my own releases, I have worked with a UK-based agency to write original songs for others, a role I found especially rewarding for its creativity and variety. I have also contributed to the music for an upcoming BBC film, which is still “under wraps”! In 2023, I collaborated with Carl Corcoran on his song Forever and More, releasing a duet record that was named RTÉ Culture’s ‘Tune of the Week.’
